Antidoron Bags 

Decorative cotton bags with drawstring and embroidered cross motif.  These bags are used for bringing a piece of antidoron home for personal devotion.  You may want to start your day with a small piece of blessed bread and holy water, or you may want to bring a piece home for someone who could not make it to church because of sickness or other circumstances. The antidoron is the part of the prosforon or offering bread that is not used in the chalice for consecration.  As a part of our community offering to God, it is cut up and distributed to everyone after receiving the Holy Eucharist and then again at the end of the Divine Liturgy.
